This winter, I have already enjoyed lots of fire cider benefits to my health. Over the Christmas holiday, almost everyone was coming down with the flu and really struggling to recover. My fiancé was one of these poor souls; so as soon as I was able to, I brought over a quart-sized jar of fire cider and we took shots of it together every day! I didn’t love the flavor and pinched my nose to minimize the sensory experience but he loved the taste and was soon asking questions about other ways to drink it and how to make his own batch of fire cider.
The good news is that as a result of taking fire cider every day for almost a week, I did not come down with the flu! After this success, I am sold out on the benefits of Fire Cider and had to write a blog spreading the good news.

Utilizing fire cider benefits
Fire cider can be taken to prevent sickness, boost immunity as well as to treat an active cold, flu, or infection. To prevent sickness, fire cider can be taken daily to boost the immune system. I prefer to pour one shot and shoot it back quickly. Some folks like to add theirs to hot water and honey for a zesty hot apple cider drink but as long as fire cider is taken regularly, you will see significant benefits.
Now that you understand all of the fire cider benefits, it’s time to make your own. Check out my fire cider recipe and get creative with flavors and ingredients you enjoy.
