Herbal and Floral Lavender Honey

Ingredients

  • Culinary Lavender
  • Raw unfiltered honey

Instructions

  • Fill a glass jar of your choice about 1/4 full of lavender
  • Cover the lavender with honey
  • Stir until everything in incorporated and there are no air pockets
  • Sit for 2-4 weeks in a cool dark place
  • After a few weeks I start to check the flavor of the honey
  • Once the honey reaches my desired flavor, strain it into another jar and cover
  • I like to reserve the lavender for steeping in tea or moon milk but you definitely don’t want to throw it away. The flowers still have a lot to give.
  • Store your lavender honey in a cool dark place and enjoy! See below for my favorite ways to use it!
